LispWorks 6 beta announced

The first beta version of the upcoming LispWorks 6 release has been announced. New features: a CAPI backend to GTK+, support for Solaris x86/x64 and multiprocessing capabilities.

The old CAPI backend to Motif is a bit aging. So it is good news for users of LispWorks with X11 that now there is support for GTK+. It means that now both the Lispworks development environment and also GUI-based user applications can have a GTK+ look and feel.

The company looks for beta testers among customers and potential customers - especially if they want and can test the new features.
